29 CFR 1910.146(c)(1): The employer shall evaluate the workplace to determine if any spaces are permit-required confined spaces: At a facility located at 1007 Townline Road in Wausau, WI; the employer did not evaluate if spaces were permit-required confined spaced. The employer determined that confined spaces with potential atmospheric hazards and other recognized serious safety hazards were not permit-required confined spaces, including but not limited to the Cooling Cone of the Spray Dryer and the Drum Dryer in the Spray Dry area.
