29 CFR 1926.502(b)(3): Guardrail systems were not capable of withstanding, without failure, a force of at least 200 pounds (890 N) applied within 2 inches (5.1 cm) of the top edge, in any outward or downward direction, at any point along the top edge. Location: 150 Cambridgepark Drive, Cambridge, MA; On or about 1/25/2023, employees were exposed to falls where guardrails systems were installed per manufacturer instructions. The portable guardrail systems was not anchored nor were outriggers provided to be able to withstand without failure a force of at least 200 pounds applied within 2 inches of the top edge.
