Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001A Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: (a) United States Welding DBA Rocky Mountain Air Solutions, 600 S. Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO 80233: On or about 10/12/2022, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from the hazards of a compressed gas cylinder tipping over and becoming a projectile on the dock area, outside the main entrance. The cylinders were vulnerable to being knocked over as they were not secured, or nested in such a manner as to maintain three contiguous points of contact. (b) United States Welding DBA Rocky Mountain Air Solutions, 600 S. Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO 80233: On or about 10/12/2022, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from the hazards of a compressed gas cylinder tipping over and becoming a projectile in the service department.
