29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1):Employees must be able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside is permitted on exit discharge doors. a) Firestone Complete Auto Care, at the jobsite located at 8510 Orion Pl., Columbus, Ohio 43240: On or about September 9, 2022, exit route doors in the stock room had locking devices on the frame of the door, thereby hindering safe egress in the event of an emergency. b) Firestone Complete Auto Care, at the jobsite located at 8510 Orion Pl., Columbus, Ohio 43240: On or about September 9, 2022, exit route doors in the scrap tire storage area were had locking devices on the frame of the door, thereby hindering safe egress in the event of an emergency.
