Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(2)(ii): An energy isolating device that was capable of being locked out, did not utilize a lockout device: a.) Precision Compacted Components LLC, DBA APG-Sintered Metals-Wilcox- on or about 7/25/22 and times prior thereto employees were performing service and maintenance activities on equipment including, but not limited to gasbarre molding press #13. Lockout was not utilized when the equipment was capable of being locked out. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
