29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator was competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l) and as referenced by the note contained in 1926.602(d): (a) Hillandale Gettysburg LP, 370 Spicer Road, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania - The employer did not provide training and evaluation on powered industrial trucks as required by the standard to employees and permitted employees to operate a Genie GTH844 forklift, exposing employees to hazards including, but not limited to, tip-over, crushing, and struck-by, on or about July 28, 2022. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
