29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):(1) Unprotected sides and edges. (i) Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer must ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the following: On or about June 14, 2022 at location 450 W. 33rd Ave. Oshkosh, WI: employees were not protected from fall hazards of approximately seven to eight feet while working on top of FLOW 1 and FLOW 2. a)FLOW 1 machine is approximately seven feet from ground to working area on top of the oven. Maintenance employees will access the top of the machines for maintenance and color change on the machine by a ladder. b)FLOW 2 machine is approximately eight feet from ground to working platform on top of the oven. Maintenance employees will access the top of the machines for maintenance by a ladder.
