29 CFR 1910.134(a)(2):The employer did not provide respirators which were applicable and suitable for the purpose intended: (a) At a worksite located at 1921 West US Highway 50, Lone Jack, MO 64070, an employee was exposed to respiratory hazards associated with wearing of a respirator that was not applicable and suitable for the purpose intended. The employer required the use of tight fitting respirators when accessing a container which contained a storage area for dry ice (carbon dioxide). The employee was wearing a tight fitting elastomeric respirator that was not protective against inhalation of carbon dioxide.
