29 CFR 1910.333(c)(8): Conductive articles of jewelry and clothing (such a watch bands, bracelets, rings, key chains, necklaces, metalized aprons, cloth with conductive thread, or metal headgear) may not be worn if they might contact exposed energized parts. a). On or about April 23, 2022, at the Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control manufacturing building, one employee suffered Arch Flash burns to their face, neck and ears when the gold chain necklace they were wearing inadvertently made contact with an energized transformer in the adjacent bay to where the employee was working resulting in an Arch Flash.
