29 CFR 1910.28(b)(11)(i):(i) Each employee exposed to an unprotected side or edge of a stairway landing that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected by a guardrail or stair rail system; a. On or about April 12, 2022 and at times prior, the employer failed to ensure an unprotected side/edge of a stairway landing at the Line 1 Viking Nailer, Model 505, Machine number 887M, which was four feet above a lower level was protected by a guardrail system. The condition exposed employees to fall hazards from four feet while using the stairway and platform.
