29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(D):The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the requirements for testing a machine or equipment to determine and verify the effectiveness of lockout devices, tagout devices, and other energy control: a) Menards Inc, on or about January 10, 2022, located at 14502 CR 15 Holiday City, OH: The employer did not ensure energy control procedures for servicing overhead doors springs included the evaluation of the energy control equipment to determine and verify the effectiveness for controlling the stored of the high tension springs. Employees making adjustment to the springs in this condition were exposed to struck by hazards.
