29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i):The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: On or about November 18, 2021, employees at Fenner Dunlop Toledo, LLC were exposed to point of operation in-going nip point hazards and crushing injury, in that they were performing Lockout/Tagout twice daily and were not properly trained on the Lockout/Tagout procedures of the employers Farrell Shaw calender (Unit #522). The employer did not ensure employees were trained in the purpose and function of the energy control program, with regards to the mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic energy sources within the Farrell Shaw calender, during machine set up process, maintenance and repair.
