29 CFR 1910.23(b)(9): The employer did not ensure that ladders are inspected before initial use in each work shift, and more frequently as necessary, to identify any visible defects that could cause employee injury. a) Office Driveway; 411 First Ave., Columbus, GA 31901 - On or about 10/15/2021, the employer exposed an employee to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet, in that: it failed to inspect a 10-foot A-frame fiberglass step ladder that had damage to its padded feet on both front rails.
