29 CFR 1926.62(d)(1)(i): Each employer who had a workplace or operation covered by 29 CFR 1926.62 did not initially determine if any employee was exposed to lead at or above the action level of 30 micrograms per cubic meter of air (30 �?g/m3) calculated as an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA): (a) On or about July 15, 2021 and many times prior to July 15, 2021, employees were exposed to the recognized hazard of lead during the performance of their job duties, including cutting (with oxygen/ propane gases) of rivet heads, cross members and upper laterals with lead containing paint at Nisqually River Bridge 25.3. The employer had a workplace covered by this standard and did not initially determine if any employee may be exposed to lead at the action level. Such exposures are likely to lead to the development of serious illnesses such as, but not limited to high blood pressure, declines in mental functioning, pain, numbness or tingling of the extremities, muscular weakness, headache, abdominal pain, memory loss, mood disorders, reproductive organ harm.
