29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces were kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: (a) Upper Building - Combustible wood dust had accumulated on the floor at the black pallet dismantling horizontal bandsaw, exposing employees to a fire hazard, on or about April 12, 2021. (b) Lower Building - Combustible wood dust had accumulated on the floor at equipment and machinery, including the saw known as Big Red, the notcher, and the 16-inch DeWalt radial arm saw, exposing employees to a fire hazard, on or about the week of April 5, 2021. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
