Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001A Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: (a) On or about January 13, 2021, the foreman was walking directly below two employees roofing a new residential property, was not provided a protective helmet. This exposed the foreman on the ground to a struck-by hazard to the head from shingles and/or other tools and equipment that may inadvertently fall from the roof.
