9 C.F..R. 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures shall be developed. documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section, other than during minor servicing under 29 C.F.R. 1910.l47(a)(2)(ii)(B) when alternative measures providing effective protection are implemented. On or about December 30, 2020. an employee was exposed to caught-in hazards during minor servicing of the Prefeeder of the 1395 Emba 170 CM FFG/Diecut machine when the alternative measures to lockout/tagout did not provide sufficient protection.
