29 CFR 1910.213(g)(1):Swing cutoff saw(s) were not provided with an automatically adjusting hood that completely enclosed the upper half of the saw, the arbor end, and the point of operation at all positions of the saw: (a) On or about October 19, 2020, at the worksite located at 9845 S. 57th Street, Franklin, WI, the employer did not ensure a Tipton Iron Works swing cutoff saw was provided with an automatically adjusting hood that enclosed the upper half of the saw, the arbor end, and the point of operation at all positions of the saw. This exposed workers to struck-by hazard, laceration hazard and amputation injury.
