29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposed an employee to injury, was not guarded: (a) At the Sheet Metal Shop: On or about October 19, 2020, an employee assisting the operator of the Roper Whitney Auto Brake machine to bend 18-gauge sheet metal was exposed to crushing and amputation hazards at the point of operation, in that, safety guarding measures to protect the second operator/assistant were not in place.
