29 CFR 1910.269(d)(2)(i): The employer shall establish a program consisting of energy control procedures, employee training, and periodic inspections to ensure that, before any employee performs any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, start up, or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment is isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative. a) On 9/26/20, employees were exposed to electrical hazards of 1500 volts dc while cutting out damaged connectors for solar panels located at row IS18. Employer did not ensure that the general program consisted of energy control procedures, employee training and periodic inspections.
