29 CFR 1910.184(c)(1): Sling(s) that were damaged or defective were used: On or about 7-27-2020, in the production area, employees exposed to a struck-by hazard, in that the employer failed to remove slings from service that were available to for use with exposed inner cord threads and other visible damage such has but not limited to: a. 8-foot sling, S/N 564313, exposed cord threads; b. 6-foot sling, illegible tag, eye separating; c. 6-foot sling, illegible tag, exposed cord threads; d. 4-foot sling, S/N 133207-38, exposed cord threads; e. 3-foot loop sling, S/N 498365-140, outer sleeve separating; f. 70-inch sling, illegible tag, visibly stretched.
