29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures shall be developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section. (a) The employer's written procedures for lock out of the Line 2 extruder were inadequate in that the procedures did not identify which section of the equipment each of the disconnects, E1, E2, E3, E4, E5, and E6, controlled.
