29 CFR 1910.269(a)(2)(ii)(D): The proper use of the special precautionary techniques, personal protective equipment, insulating and shielding materials, and insulated tools for working on or near exposed energized parts of electric equipment. At a work place located at 4092 County Road 140, Seymour, Texas; an employee worked on an energized cabinet of 12,000 volts and was not protected from flash arc burn injuries. The employer did not ensured the employee use the protective equipment exposing him to the hazards of arc flash burns.
