29 CFR 1910.27(a): Scaffold used in general industry did not meet the requirements in 29 CFR part 1926, subpart L (Scaffolds). Employee engaged in welding activities in the south side of the chemical department was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 5 feet in that a wood plank was placed on the top rails of a Genie GS-2032 scissor lift and used as a working platform, which is in violation of 29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iii), unstable objects should not be used as working platforms.
