Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001A Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: a) Yard area: On or about March 9, 2020, and at times prior thereto, employees regularly walked and worked in close proximity to customer vehicles, 18 wheeled semi-trucks, company trucks and loaded and unloaded forklifts. b) Warehouse: On or about March 9, 2020, and at times prior thereto, there was not a designated traffic movement pattern for the forklifts and/or the pedestrian traffic, thus exposing employees to struck by hazards. Note: Certification AND documentation of corrective actions are required for this item.
