29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): The employer shall provide portable fire extinguishers and shall mount, locate and identify them so that they are readily accessible to employees without subjecting the employees to possible injury. Warehouse, portable ABC dry chemical fire extinguishers: on or about February 12, 2020, portable ABC fire extinguishers provided in the workplace were not accessible due to stored loads and other materials. Employees working in the area were exposed to fire hazards during incipient stage of firefighting. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
