29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy. a) Lettuce Processing Area, Lettuce Line Inspection Conveyor: On or about February 1, 2020, an employee in the process of completing cleaning and sanitation operations to the company's food processing equipment located in the lettuce processing area, was exposed to struck-by and caught-in hazards in that the energy control procedures for the Lettuce Line Inspection Conveyor did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down and isolating hazardous mechanical energy.
