29 CFR 1910.30(a)(3): The employer did not train each employee in at least the following topics: The nature of the fall hazards in the work area and how to recognize them; the procedures to be followed to minimize those hazards; the correct procedures for installing, inspecting, operating, maintaining, and disassembling the personal fall protection systems that the employee uses; and the correct use of personal fall protection systems and equipment specified in paragraph (a)(1) of this section, including, but not limited to, proper hook-up, anchoring, and tie-off techniques, and methods of equipment inspection and storage, as specified by the manufacturer. On or about February 6, 2020, employees of General Beverage Sales Company, Inc who are exposed to fall hazards while working from Raymond Order Pickers at heights of up to 30 feet were not trained in requirements of the standard including nature of fall hazards, fall hazard recognition, procedures for inspecting and maintaining fall protection equipment and the correct use of the fall protection equipment.
