29 CFR 1910.22(c): The employer did not ensure that each employee used a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces: a) Blocking Room, 100 Pine Street, New Eagle, PA 15067: On or about January 24, 2020, employees were not provided with a safe means of access and egress to the top of the ribbon mixer. A portable ladder stand used by employees to access the top of the ribbon mixer required employees to step over 2 from the top platform of the portable ladder stand to the top of the ribbon mixer. Employees using the portable ladder stand to access the top of the mixer were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 7 feet to the concrete floor below.
