29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation. (a) On or about January 23, 2020, Converting machine operators (classified as affected employees) performing tasks that would be classified as tasks to be preformed by an authorized employee, had not been instructed, and/or trained on the recognition of the energy source hazards associated with the equipment, or the means necessary to isolate that energy. This exposed employee(s) working on or around the converting machine to point of operation, ingoing nip point, rotating parts, struck by, crushing, and/ or amputation Hazards.
