29 CFR 1915.152(b)(1): When hazards were present, or likely to be present, the employer did not provide personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee based on the workplace hazard assessment. (a) Unit 2182 - On or about December 6, 2019 the employer allowed the welding personnel to wear leather welding gear that did provide adequate protection from welding slag exposing them to struck by and burn hazards.
