29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) On or about October 12, 2019, on floors eight through eighteen of the Hard Rock Hotel construction site at 1031 Canal St., New Orleans, LA, employees used hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, diesel fuel for a forklift and arc welders/generators, acetylene gas for cutting torches, explosive powder-actuated fasteners, and 7018 welding rods, and did not have safety data sheets.
