Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001A Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.95(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, were not utilized: On or about September 25, 2019; employees were performing demolition operations in the Consumer Plant and were cutting and draining a steel pipe which contained Troy Chemical Corp. Polyphase AF1. Employees were exposed to chemical skin contact hazards from the Troy Chemical Corp. Polyphase AF1 when employees did not utilize the following personal protective equipment: (a) Hand protection-chemical resistant gloves; (b) Protective clothing- chemical resistant.
