29 CFR 1910.184(c)(6): Safe Operating Practices: Slings shall be securely attached to their loads. On September 4, 2019, at Press #10, after moving a 3,000 lb. steel coil using a 5 ton crane and single-leg alloy steel chain sling to a position next to the press feeder cradle, the sling was not securely attached to the steel coil before the coil was secured from falling and lifted into the cradle of the press feeder cradle.
