29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: On or about June 10, 2019, at 801 Jamaican Drive, Palm Beach, Florida, 33415, employees were engaged in residential roofing activities, and were using a metal extension ladder to gain access to a rooftop, wherein the ladder and the employees working on the rooftop were both in close proximity (less than 10 feet) to high voltage electrical power lines, and during which the employees were not adequately instructed in the recognition and avoidance of electrical hazards; therefore exposing the employees to an electrical hazard. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
