29 CFR 1910.22(b): The employer did not ensure that each walking-working surface could support the maximum intended load for that surface: (a) LifeScape at 2501 West 26th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57105: On or about and at times prior to April 3, 3019 the employer did not ensure the window well cover on the north side of the main entrance could support an employee accessing an electrical outlet over the grating. An employee suffered a fall of approximately 7.5 feet when exposed to this hazards that resulted in fractured vertebra and ribs. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards.
