29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment. The employer failed to conduct an adequate workplace hazards assessment to identify personal protective equipment to be utilized to protect employees from overhead hazards. This was most recently documented on April 2, 2019 on the FCA line where lifting devices were located at Tenneco Inc. located at 111 Izzak Rd in Seward, NE 68434. Employees on the FCA line were using lifting devices and were not protected from falling loads.
