29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a. On or about March 21, 2019, the employer did not ensure that the employee(s) who assisted or worked near pouring operations wore flame resistant clothing to protect against burn injuries to the upper and lower body. Employees who worked adjacent to the furnace and to pouring operations were exposed to burn injuries from molten aluminum splash.
