29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): Walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition; a) On 3/18/2019 the employer did not ensure that the decking was completed on the back side of the #18 coater, two employees were in the process of cleaning excess coating from an oven, the employees were cleaning the backside of the oven while standing on the oven vents and a support beam, employee #1 had finished cleaning a spot on the oven and went to step off of the vent piping onto the beam, as the employee stepped down the employee missed the beam and fell through an opening in the decking of 2 ft. X 4 ft. the employee fell approximately 5 ft. to the concrete floor below the oven vents.
