29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Installation and use. Listed or labeled equipment shall be installed and used in accordance with any instructions included in the listing or labeling. Meat Box Cooler, Outside Wall. On or about March 11, 2019, equipment was not installed and used in accordance with the instructions included in the listing or labeling. A flexible heating cable was installed on the outside of the metal cooler wall. The cable was exposed to physical damage from rolling metal product carts stored along the outside of the cooler wall. Employees were exposed to electrical shock and burns from arcing and electrical fires. There is no abatement documentation or certification required for this item.
