29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(I): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling: a. On or about October 8, 2018, on the 1:12 pitch metal roof 2 employees were walking and cleaning the gutters along the north and south sides without the use of any fall protection systems, being exposed to fall hazards from 14-foot 7-inch up to 16-foot 6-inch. b. On or about October 9, 2018, on the 1:12 pitch metal roof the plant manager and another employee were walking and attaching a piece of corrugated metal roofing to cover the hole in the fiberglass skylight panel where an employee had fallen through without the use of any fall protection systems, being exposed to fall hazards from 14-foot 7-inch up to 16-foot 6-inch.
