29 CFR 1926.950(b)(2): Qualified employees. Each qualified employee shall also be trained and competent in: 29 CFR 1926.950(b)(2)(iii): The minimum approach distances specified in this subpart corresponding to the voltages to which the qualified employee will be exposed and the skills and techniques necessary to maintain those distances. a. On or about October 3, 2018, the employer did not ensure that employees had the knowledge and skills required to identify and determine the elevation of existing 69KV power transmission lines to ensure that the minimum approach distance was maintained while setting new poles.
