29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1): Ground-fault Protection. The employer did not use either ground fault circuit interrupters or an assured equipment grounding conductor program. This violation was most recently observed on or about August 29, 2018 at the Sterling Shipyard located in Port Neches, Texas when the employer did not ensure the extension cord set plugged into a permanent 120-volt, 15- or 20 ampere receptacle outlet have Ground-fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) to protect employees on the construction site.
