OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a. Clinton B. Fisk Avenue & Maine Avenue (trench in middle of intersection) The employer did not ensure that employees engaged in cutting and capping activities on a water main were protected from kickbacks of Husqvarna K-760 Demolition Saw(s). The employer allowed employees cutting and removing sections of water pipe to operate demolition saws and did not ensure the materials being cut were always supported so that the cut stays open when cutting through as outlined in the operator's manual. Violation occurred on or about August 10, 2018
