29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: STORE-WIDE: On or about and at times prior to July 24, 2018, the employer had not conducted a hazard assessment to determine the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to be used by employees when working with hazardous chemicals in the store. Hazardous chemicals used included, but were not limited to: corrosive glass/surface cleaner and disinfectants as well as degreasers that are irritating to the eyes and skin.
