29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: Clean Room Lab; On or about 11/21/17, the employer did not select the appropriate ppe to protect employees from the hazards of using Peridox, a cleaning chemical containing hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid, to sanitize the clean room. The material is corrosive to the skin and eyes and can cause burns. Inhalation can cause respiratory irritation and shortness of breath.
