29 CFR 1910.28(b)(3)(iii): Each employee was not protected from falling into a stairway floor hole by a fixed guardrail system on all exposed sides, except at the stairway entrance: (a) SERVICE GARAGE - The floor opening for the stairway leading to the service pit located in the service garage 58 inches above the lower level was not provided with guardrails on the open sides, which thereby exposed employee(s) to fall hazards, on or about November 1, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
