29 CFR 1926.1408(d)(1): Part(s) of equipment, load line, or load (including rigging and lifting accessories) were allowed below an energized power line when the exceptions to paragraph (d)(2) did not apply: On or about 10/12/17 at 702B Eraste Landry Road, Lafayette, LA, the employer positioned a National truck crane under and in direct physical contact with an energized overhead power line (13.8 kv phase to phase and 7960 phase to ground),while the crane was being used to swing and lift roofing material from the employer's truck to be placed on the roof thus the employee received an electrical shock and was hospitalized.
