Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to vehicle struck be hazards: (a) On or about October 3, 2017 for the employees exposed to vehicle struck by hazards working in and adjacent to the roadway to support trenching activities in the vicinity of First Street SW and Troy Avenue Tappen, ND. NOTE: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to follow the requirements for traffic control plans as identified in Section Six of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
