29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(i)(E): Powered industrial truck operators did not receive initial training on steering and maneuvering: a. Small parts roller deck, on or about 9/6/17: Employee operating a reach truck which was set up with "standard" steering. The employee was trained on reach trucks set up with "reverse" steering and had never driven a reach truck set up with "standard" steering. The employee operated the reach truck and struck a pedestrian standing in the vicinity. Abatement documentation must be submitted for this item.
